Introduction
HDD hole opener for horizontal drilling
Horizontal reamer, also called HDD reamer, is used to expand the pilot hole of horizontal directional drilling (HDD)-HDD is used when trenching and digging are impractical. This drilling technique allows drilling underground in a maneuverable, trenchless manner.


The main structure features
Reamers with replaceable tools were developed for large-diameter HDD projects where extending downhole life is essential. Compared with small traditional tools, large bearings and tools can significantly extend downhole life.
There are two types of replaceable milling cutter sets, TCI and gear grinding, to adapt to various rock formations. All drill bodies have 3-6 cutters and can drill 4 holes of different sizes.
All tool bearings are metal sealed. The tool lock is used to prevent the tool from falling off.

Cutting structure
The reamer bit is mainly composed of four or more cones. The main cutting teeth are a new wear-resistant alloy welded by tungsten carbide inserts and steel teeth. The high-quality tungsten carbide teeth with new formula and new technology improve the service life of the reaming drill. The guide is a roller bit or a drawing bit.
Sealing and lubrication
The bearing seal adopts high-performance O-ring seal or metal seal bearing, and imported special grease for the drill bit.
