Introduction
The non-magnetic drill collar is made of low carbon high chromium
manganese alloy steel. After strict chemical composition
refinement, mechanical properties are obtained by forging. When the
magnetic field intensity is 1 × 105 / 4 area / m, the relative
permeability bias of the non-magnetic drill collar is less than or
equal to 1.010. The magnetic induction gradient of non-magnetic
drill collar at any interval of 100 mm along the inner hole is ≤
0.05
Non magnetic drill collars have unusual design requirements, which
result in unique corrosion resistance problems. The drill collar is
the bottom part of the drill string. The weight of the drill collar
